Chinese characters disappear when editing a pdf file on Microsoft Edge

Can someone help me with this.

I want to edit a pdf file on Microsoft Edge. It was fine with the English language; but I can't type Chinese characters, like they just disappear.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

    You need to install the "Chinese (Simplified, China) language pack locally on your machine via Windows Time & Language > Langauge and region.

    When the language pack is install, add it to the Chrome and Edge browser, via the browser setting.

    It will solved the issue, if not a restart of the computer might be required.
