Good evening.

After this last updating of Microsoft Edge, the pen icon is missing. I like to save and write on my Web pages. Can someone tell me how to fix this?

Thank you

Thank You MS for taking away my browser!

NOW I CAN'T USE MY PEN AT ALL.

    I HAVE A SURFACE PRO 7!

TO SAY I AM PISSED OFF IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT!

The loss of the pen is reason enough for me to sell my surface go. I really have no function for it now. Microsoft was misadvised.

What? Really and truly done away with the only reason why I use Edge on my Surface Pro? Who on earth thought that would be a great idea? no reason to use Edge now. Back to Chrome I'll be going. Let me know when someone  get their sense back and give us back website writing.

    Cheers!

    Hi Helene,

Edge and Chrome share the same web rendering engine now. MSFT claims Edge uses less resources as compared to Chrome, which is one of the biggest complaints of Chrome.

While we have a way to uninstall newer version of Edge, we don't recommend the same. I'll let you know if you need.

Rest assured inking would be back soon.

Hi Sumit, I'm not sure what the resource use means in practical terms; I'm not that tech-savvy. Perhaps that's the only reason why it doesn't really matter to me. The only thing that I care about is the pen function. I use Chrome on my laptop and everywhere else. It's just on the Surface Pro that I use Edge. Please let me know when the feature's back. I'll be back then.
