Good evening.
After this last updating of Microsoft Edge, the pen icon is missing. I like to save and write on my Web pages. Can someone tell me how to fix this?
Thank you

I've circumvented it by first getting the OneNote Web Clipper as an Egde extension. Then I clip the webpage I want to OneNote (default is Quick Notes). Once clipped there, I can open that page in my OneNote and annotate there.
Not sure if this works for you. Thanks.
That funcion has been missing ever since Ms went over to Edge based on Chromium back in january 2020. They eventually replaced it with with a bad imitation called "web capture" (Ctrl+shift+U) This is still working but is nowhere near the original funcionality which they in fact used as a sales argument to get ppl to buy their Surface products. I have tried every extension and workaround method and none of them are working to my satisfaction. Just the idea of having to use workarounds annoys me. Why should it be so difficult to bring back the feature many of us payed a lot of money for?
Precisely!! The money that we forked out for this feature - because that was the only reason I had bought it - should have been enough to never have them withdraw it. It's never make any sense, and, like you say, there shouldn't be a need for a workaround.
made* Sorry for typo
I really want this back.
