Troubleshooting website display or functionality issues in Edge on Windows 10
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
Good evening.
After this last updating of Microsoft Edge, the pen icon is missing. I like to save and write on my Web pages. Can someone tell me how to fix this?
Thank you

Canary doesn't have inking yet...
Inking on web captures was introduced with build 654 or thereabouts, so it's also available in Dev (87.0.654.0 >). You may have to enable the edge://flags/#enable-experimental-web-platform-features flag to make it work:
Enjoy!
[EDIT a few moments later:]
Sorry, forgot to mention that Ctrl-Shift-S invokes the capture tool. Once the clip has been made, there's a familiar Add notes pen icon to call up the edit window with Draw and Erase tools.
You apparently don't know what inking was like before. I don't want to take a screenshot and write on it. This is not even close to what we had in Legacy Edge.
Very bad that the pen is gone back to google chrome!! :(
Just thought Id share one other thread stating the same concerns.

Very very annoying action by ms. I have searched and tried multiple solutions and workarounds both in Edge and other browsers. Lost count of all the extensions I have installed. Nothing seems to work. Whats up microsoft??? How about some information??

Thomas, please read a few posts above. Inking is available on the Dev and Canary channels of the browser and would make the way to the stable release soon. If you cannot wait, download Dev/Canary release and enable the experimental web platform flag. Please note that we do not recommend using these versions as a primary browser. Use the same only for inking.
