Good evening.

After this last updating of Microsoft Edge, the pen icon is missing. I like to save and write on my Web pages. Can someone tell me how to fix this?

Thank you

Bring your scroll to top right "...", then "web capture", then "full page".

Ms Edge has faced an obstacle which has forced it to change the inking method - currently there is an icon with a square - on the top right (cannot remember without looking at it). After touching it - you have two choices, then choose page which gives you a captured screen, write on it then exit, 2 choices again = you can save it or discard it. In essence it was not as good as before, where you can scroll down and still can write. BUT because Microsoft has kept quiet, I believe it is due to security problems Ms could not solve.

Click on the tip twice and you will launch an additional window, this is the new "Inking on workspace" then you will be able to start writing on the existing document like before. you are able to adjust the pen settings to your preference (click once or twice) in your "pen settings". hope this helps.

What tip, where is it? No "Pen" Xistant on menu!

Where is "Inking on workspace " located for down load?

If you are referring to the "web capture" function (ctrl-shift-s), Im sorry to say that this funcion is not anywhere near what originally was integrated in Edge.

To do screenshots of a webpage and draw on it can be done in Chrome as well with an extension.

We want the possibility of taking notes directly onto LIVE webpages and saving them!

    Precisely!!!!!!!!!!!

Agree 100%. That is why I said "slightly different". Not really sure they took this awesome feature away. Truly is frustrating!!!!! BRING IT BACK THEY WAY IT USED TO BE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Change for the sake of change is just silly.
