Where have the pen icon in Microsoft Edge gone?

Good evening.

After this last updating of Microsoft Edge, the pen icon is missing. I like to save and write on my Web pages. Can someone tell me how to fix this?

    I have to agree with everyone in this thread. The pen function was great and it being gone has a negative effect on my work. Thanks so much for bringing it back.

    Nope, still no pen/inking support. They will tell you... well, you can ink on a pdf! But that's not what we want. We want what we already had in Edge before! Just bring it back! Better yet, just reactive the original Edge Browser (Legacy Edge).

    I don't know why they call it Legacy Edge when there is no way to actually download "Legacy Edge".

    Yes -- very sad that this key feature has been removed. Chrome paint extension does the same thing. Not quite as good but a work around until Edge gets it back.

    I had the pen funcion all the way until I today imported the Chrome bookmarks over to Edge. That was a mistake I understand. Just put my surface 7 out for sales and will stick to my Mac instead.

    Removing the only really usefull feature and the reason I bought the Surface in the first place must be just about the dumbest move ever by MS.

    Precisely. As far as I was concerned, the best feature of any laptop/tablet combo.
