Good evening.

After this last updating of Microsoft Edge, the pen icon is missing. I like to save and write on my Web pages. Can someone tell me how to fix this?

Thank you

No. This is old news and it is not the solution. The only solution is that Ms Reinstates the original web page writing

I think I found a solution!!!!! Click on the 3 dots on the top right of page (settings). Scroll down to Web Capture or hit Ctrl+Shift+S. It gives you the option of capturing what you currently see on page or the entire page. From there you can mark it up all you want! Hope this helps!!!!!!!!!

    Hi Helene,

Edge and Chrome share the same web rendering engine now. MSFT claims Edge uses less resources as compared to Chrome, which is one of the biggest complaints of Chrome.

While we have a way to uninstall newer version of Edge, we don't recommend the same. I'll let you know if you need.

Rest assured inking would be back soon.

Thank you for that clear answer, Sumit. That's a super way to keep on track.

The rason I need this functionality is not so much the annotation function, but morge the "screenshot full page"...

I'm asking myself if this part functionality has been hidden somewhere else? :)

Does anyone here know about that?

Thanks in advance for your advice.

    Kind regards,

    Sabine
