This thread has run its course and would be locked. 

There is no way to go back to Edge Legacy if you have a new version of Edge installed.

Why can't I uninstall Microsoft Edge?

    If you uninstall the new Edge, then the old Edge will be re-instated . .

    Then, follow the steps from Shawn Brink on the page below to run the old and new Edge browsers side by side on your PC:

    This is an alternative version to the Microsoft edge. Yes, it is safe.

    Due to security reasons, Microsoft does not give option to downgrade to a lower version.

    This did not work. It turned into something called Microsoft Canary. Do you happen to know what this is and if its safe.
