Hi, I hope somebody can help. My Windows 10 laptop has installed the new Edge Browser for 2020. It is Edge number 80.361.66, 64 bit. On the old Edge I can go to the more icon (....) at the top right, then More Tools, then Pin To Start. Now on this new Edge there is no Pin To Start. How can I pin a web page to my Start Menu. If I cannot pin a web page to my Start Menu, what's really the use of the Start Menu. I have always had folders on my Start Menu with pages pinned. Now I can't. Can anyone help me? Cheers.

I have figured out a way to pin a site to Start. See the GIF - requires you to pin to the taskbar first. unfortunately, the update to Edge cannot be uninstalled.
open n taskbar , go to start menu scroll to new web page , drag over to start then remove from taskbar & start list...
click on 3 dots--->Apps--->Manage Apps--->You can see the installed apps --->Right click on any app--->Pin to--->Start Menu
This shouldn't be so confusing. After pinning the page to the taskbar (as others recommend), I found I could NOT right-click on the taskbar icon. I don't know why, but I decided to look in the All Apps section of Start, where I was surprised to find my page. I can pin it to Start from there. But why? I didn't install it as an app. Are all pinned pages suddenly apps now? Weird. If this is a recent change, it's not an improvement.
First pin the site to the task bar via Edge's three dot menu/More tools/Pin to taskbar then right click on the new icon that it created on the taskbar, right click on the menu item above "Unpin from taskbar" and choose "Pin to start". You can then unpin the icon from the taskbar.

Your method was working for awhile. Now, the tile that is pinned to the Start page is a tile named W~MSEdge._crx__olgimjmhlbjeb.UserData. Default and not the site that had been saved to the task bar. It creates this same Edge tile no matter what site you are trying to pin. And, when you click on the tile it does nothing. Anybody else experiencing this?
