Hi, I hope somebody can help. My Windows 10 laptop has installed the new Edge Browser for 2020. It is Edge number 80.361.66, 64 bit. On the old Edge I can go to the more icon (....) at the top right, then More Tools, then Pin To Start. Now on this new Edge there is no Pin To Start. How can I pin a web page to my Start Menu. If I cannot pin a web page to my Start Menu, what's really the use of the Start Menu. I have always had folders on my Start Menu with pages pinned. Now I can't. Can anyone help me? Cheers.

I have figured out a way to pin a site to Start. See the GIF - requires you to pin to the taskbar first. unfortunately, the update to Edge cannot be uninstalled.

Yes with the new Edge, you cannot directly pin a website to start. You can directly pin to the taskbar instead.

For pinning it to Start, there is a workaround. You need to install the website as an app from Settings and you should be good to go. Please note that if you install the website as an app, it opens in a full Window without tabs. To install site as an app, click 3 dots in the right and choose the same option. You would see the same in start menu from where you can pin tile.

It is such a shame that I cannot pin pages to Start Menu like I used to do.
I did what you said, and it all worked ok. However, If I'm going to put say 50 web pages in folders in my Start Menu, I will now end up with 50 more Apps in my Apps list; so disappointing.
Can you tell me Sumit, how I can go back to the previous old Edge, without losing my Favs and settings ??

This awesome, I can now pin pages to the Start Menu.
Also, I did find that sometimes, when I did it, it did not put it in Start Menu. So, when I re clicked the Gif in the taskbar, it came up with a box which said "'Missing Shortcut." I clicked browse, then I double clicked the "msedge", and presto, it was on my Start Menu.
