2020 Edge cannot pin web pages to Start Menu ????

Hi, I hope somebody can help. My Windows 10 laptop has installed the new Edge Browser for 2020. It is Edge number 80.361.66, 64 bit. On the old Edge I can go to the more icon (....) at the top right, then More Tools, then Pin To Start. Now on this new Edge there is no Pin To Start. How can I pin a web page to my Start Menu. If I cannot pin a web page to my Start Menu, what's really the use of the Start Menu. I have always had folders on my Start Menu with pages pinned. Now I can't. Can anyone help me? Cheers.

I have figured out a way to pin a site to Start. See the GIF - requires you to pin to the taskbar first. unfortunately, the update to Edge cannot be uninstalled.

    I found another solution that works great!

    The latest build of MS Edge I'm using (Version 87.0.664.66) includes a feature called Apps. It allows you to save a website in a "app" view on Edge (no URL bar/favorites, etc) with some additional settings.

    To add a website (as an apps) to your start menu:

    1. Open MS Edge and navigate to the webpage you would like to add to the start menu (I will be using Google Calendars for this example)
    2. Click Settings > Apps > Install this site as an app
    3. After, click Settings > Apps > Manage apps
    4. On the Manage Apps tab, right click on your app and select Pin to  = Start Menu
    5. Open the start menu and find the newly pinned app (it may be opened under a folder Edge Apps)
    6. Right-click new app and select Pin to start

    All that does is put a blank icon on the start page which you have to remove.

    Click on page you want, than (...) at top right corner. Click (more tools), pin to task bar. Once you see the page icon in the task bar, right click it, than right click page again. It will say pin to start there.

    Hi Antony,

    We are just volunteers here trying to help. The Pin to start feature may come in future, until then you have to use, Pin to the taskbar>Pin to Start workaround.

    Edge and Chrome use the same engine. As per my experience, the battery life compared to Chrome is way down. There is no point in using Chrome if Edge is better.
