videos in windows edge keep stopping and restarting

The videos in Edge keep stopping and restarting. Some go for 18 seconds, other go almost all the way to the end then start over. I have done all the so called "fixes" I have found on the internet, and nothing works. The problem only happens when watching videos in Edge home page. Videos in Facebook and others work fine.

    I switched to the Dev version hoping that it might be better, but it's still a problem; so I'm currently on:

    Version 111.0.1633.0 (Official build) dev (64-bit)

    Running on Windows 10 Pro, version 22H2, build 19045.2486.

    I have done a clean boot, even though it was against my better judgement, and it did not work. I say it is against my better judgement because logically it doesn't make sense that it would work - if you read through what I wrote describing the issue, and of course, understood logical reasoning, then I believe it would be clear that the canned response of a clean boot would not work. In fact, it was an incredible waste of my time.

    Nah dude, none of this stuff works. I just bought a brand-new Surface 7, purchased from the Microsoft Store. It started doing it right out of the box, and it only does it on Edge. Now I have 3 different computers, different manufacturers, 2 purchased from Microsoft, that all do the same thing. I have no doubt the problem is not on my end, or anything that I can adjust. Y'all are just wasting my time and yours. This is an issue that Microsoft needs to address. It is an issue with Edge, but MS seems unwilling to address it.
