videos in windows edge keep stopping and restarting

I discovered if I put the cursor on the white line indicating the running time of the video, it has prevented it from restarting. This has worked for me since May 8.

I have heard that from others also. Does not work for me. You would think if works for one it would work for all.

And microsoft wonders why 98% of people DON'T yuse edge and imediatly replace it with something else. But yet MS tries to force feed us Edge.

What total joke MS has Become just another Giant corp. that don't have to care about it's users.You guys also know that Windows will be subscription based in the near future right? Can't wait to see who will craft a subsitute. I will be all on board for that my hardware is mine not Microsoft's

1. Click on the three dots menubutton.
2. Go to Help and feedback.
3. Click on Send feedback.
4. In the Describe what's happening, enter this forum title videos in windows edge keep stopping and restarting and provide any additional information if needed.
5. Include your email addressand make sureAllow (recommended)is selected forSend diagnostic data to Microsoft.
6. Click on Record my problem button.
7. Agree to the terms and click on Start recording.
8. Record the issue and then click on Stop recording.
9. Click on Save and include.
10. Click on Send.

Download the latest Edge BETA browser. For me this solved two problems. One was the video stop and starting and the other was the side bar width.
