The videos in Edge keep stopping and restarting. Some go for 18 seconds, other go almost all the way to the end then start over. I have done all the so called "fixes" I have found on the internet, and nothing works. The problem only happens when watching videos in Edge home page. Videos in Facebook and others work fine.

Eric, it has now been 2 months since your engineering team has been working hard on this "Complex and Unpredictable" problem. Has there been any progress? How does the engineering team describe the issue and what do they think is causing it? It would be nice to get an update and a possible solution to this problem.
I have the same problem, only when viewing videos on the Edge home page. It is very frustrating that MIcrosoft cannot resolve this problem.
Anyone heard anything? I have not. Problem still happening and I have never gotten any response from MSN other than they are working on it.
My patience has run out with Microsoft on this issue of MSN videos restarting. While I really had gotten used to the MS Edge Start (MSN) look, I can't tolerate this issue anymore. I found that Google News has updated to a new look and it appears pretty good (better than my.yahoo). I switched my Edge Start, Home, and New Tabs pages to Google News. In order to change the New Tabs page, you need to load the 'custom new tabs' extension.
I strongly suggest others who are frustrated with this video restarting issue to also abandon MS MSN page. If many do that, maybe MS will pay attention and fix the damn problem.
Yep. I looked at installing Goggle, Firefox and other browsers and it pops up on top of their sites that Edge is better.
