The videos in Edge keep stopping and restarting. Some go for 18 seconds, other go almost all the way to the end then start over. I have done all the so called "fixes" I have found on the internet, and nothing works. The problem only happens when watching videos in Edge home page. Videos in Facebook and others work fine.

Agreed. Something in Edge. Microsoft does not seem to care so I guess we will have to live with it.
No, sorry. Did everything people suggested and still not fixed. Sent direct to Microsoft techs and never got answer. And yes, it only does it on Edge. Facebook, Twitter and others work fine.

Did you ever figure out a work-around for the Edge / Video Restarting issue?
I am experiencing the exact same issues with Edge on a new Dell PC.
Chrome / Firefox don't do it, and that pretty much tells me that it's an Edge issue, full-stop.
Any feedback from anyone would be appreciated. And yup', I've tried all of the 'fixes' provided in the thread above.

This happens to me on multiple computers. I think this is somehow tied to the microsoft account.

Can you try to perform Clean Boot. If the issue doesn't persists in clean boot it means the issue might be caused by a non-Microsoft program. Refer to this link.

I do not see how it could be caused by a non-Microsoft program. It only happens on Edge. It happens on a both a Dell computer and an HP computer. The HP was bought from Microsoft Store in San Francisco - figure that one out.
The video goes for a time (most of the time it's a little over a minute, but it can be 5 seconds, 30 seconds, any amount of time) and then starts over. Occasionally it just stops. The computer and the mouse are on the table - and I do not touch them. I have often wondered if it could be attributed to static electricity, but it is too consistent (it would not continually do it between 1:15 and 1:20). Also, it happens in both summer and winter (there's much more static electricity in the winter here, but not in the summer. This has been an issue for well over a year; I have taken all of the recommended steps, and none have worked. Sadly, the only thing that works is using Chrome or another browser... sorry, but it's the truth.
