The videos in Edge keep stopping and restarting. Some go for 18 seconds, other go almost all the way to the end then start over. I have done all the so called "fixes" I have found on the internet, and nothing works. The problem only happens when watching videos in Edge home page. Videos in Facebook and others work fine.

Millions are experiencing the issue of videos restarting which means they know all about it. I think they get a new click which turns into inflated number which means more money from advertisers.
It has been over a month. I complained a long time ago and never heard anything. If anything, it is getting worse. I had one yesterday that repeated more than 10 times. I just let it go to see how long it would last. Had to close video and start over and it did it twice than stopped after I advanced the video progress bar.
It has been a month since this issue has been elevated to Microsoft engineers and still no clear solution (or even acknowledgment that the problem exists). It would be nice to know what work has been done and if it is still a priority.
Nah dude, none of this stuff works. I just bought a brand-new Surface 7, purchased from the Microsoft Store. It started doing it right out of the box, and it only does it on Edge. Now I have 3 different computers, different manufacturers, 2 purchased from Microsoft, that all do the same thing. I have no doubt the problem is not on my end, or anything that I can adjust. Y'all are just wasting my time and yours. This is an issue that Microsoft needs to address. It is an issue with Edge, but MS seems unwilling to address it.
If it was one of those issues, I would think it would do it in all videos. Does not do it in Google, YouTube or other programs. Just does it in Edge. Also, I have tried just about everything you suggested and no difference.
