videos in windows edge keep stopping and restarting

The videos in Edge keep stopping and restarting. Some go for 18 seconds, other go almost all the way to the end then start over. I have done all the so called "fixes" I have found on the internet, and nothing works. The problem only happens when watching videos in Edge home page. Videos in Facebook and others work fine.

    It is only using Edge that I have this problem. It is very annoying.

    Strange, I only have a problem with Edge. Videos work great on all other sites.

    My win 10 pc with the latest updates has the same issue. But the video clips restart with Firefox, opera, chrome and the new Edge. I'm beginning to think it's an MSN problem.

    In addition to the report of it automatically resetting itself to the head when reading/watching for about 1 minute in which will drive a sane person out of their mind, we also for months have noticed that when scrolling a story up or down at a certain point to read the script it will jump on the screen. This is dominate with more than a single Laptop HP. This may have started about the same time the extra so-called icons were put on the left side of the screen. You are scrolling up/down to see the fully typed story and all at once it will jump several lines. Crazy. Yes, we are using the Latest version of MS Edge and have all the Windows 10 Updates. NOT using the 22H2 version of Windows. The story resetting itself as we recollect started in the past some 6 weeks for us.------------ On our new HP, which has zoom and touch screen using the Touch Pad if not careful the window screen will slightly jump to the right or left and return. I hope that this is not normal. Suggestions from "MS" was to go into Settings and turn off the provision to Zoom using the touchpad. This we prefer not to do, we want the provision to zoom from the touchpad and also by screen touch, and besides when tried switched off it made no difference. Separate from this and it is probably us, still after trying all to our computer knowledge which we admit limited to many who are very computer oriented, on the new HP computer we have never been able to SHARE something with others local or in another state. It will sometimes send back an unopenable to an old unused not complete email address on the same computer. Our IT person surrendered on this also.
