Starting this morning, Edge does not remember logins to any website

Starting this morning, every time I close Edge and reopen it, it doesn't remember any of my login so I have to login every time to every website.

I confirmed my setting is set to NOT clear cookies when I close my browser and it has always been this way.  I have never had this issue until this morning.

A features update was installed this morning and that's when this problem started.  Is there a bug with this update?  I'm running Windows 10 and Edge Version 86.0.622.38.  As you can imagine, it is quite annoying having to login to every time to every website.  

Update-There must be a bug because other people on Reddit are starting to report the same issue.

Hi folks, 

The original topic of this thread (Microsoft Edge not remembering logins) has been resolved. Make sure you've updated to the latest version of Edge to get the fix! I'm locking this thread as it is becoming difficult to moderate and troubleshoot individual issues, and this thread has turned in to a catch-all for all password issues. 

If you are still seeing issues with Edge not remembering passwords and all other programs are remembering your logins as expected, please start a new thread so we can help you individually. 

If you are seeing system-wide issues with passwords being saved:

• Check your Windows version to confirm if you are on Build 19041.173 or later

• If yes, reference this troubleshooting document Outlook and other apps won't remember password after Windows Updates - Outlook (microsoft.com) Note that this is a workaround until this Windows issue is patched.

    The update from version 38 to version 43 appears to fix this. Doesn't save all, but the majority and the ones that don't, mainly appear to be Intranet sites.

    hi

    just for the hell of it I tried your solution. When I ran the Powershell I got this>>>

    Doesnt look like it found or did anything.

    I then went to Task Scheduler and there are over 137 tasks to run.

    I'm no expert but disabling ALL and then seeing is this fixes it sounds way to complex. even if it does fix it, that's not a solution

    Hi,

    If you did not see an app list, that means the Powershell fix doesn't apply on your PC. I'll let you know when the team says the issue is fixed.

    System restore isn't my favourite tool. 

    Looking back to when this happened (on desktop and laptop), the common factor looks like KB4577063 and/or KB4576945.

    The desktop's in daily use and the laptop's very much for emergencies only, so it's only been on for updates. I did have an issue around the same time with the laptop when Microsoft snuck in an audio driver that all but killed audio. Rolling back the driver solved that issue. Strangely, when I then updated the driver, it loaded another driver (newer) which also worked, so I'm still trying to work out why Microsoft loaded a driver which was clearly incompatible.

    Back to the current problem, if nobody comes up with a quick fix, I may well wait until 20H2 comes along, and if that doesn't reset things, I'll do a clean install.
