Why has my share feature on Microsoft Edge stopped working

The drop down box does drop down but it is blank, I am signed in and have tried logging in and out of my account to no avail.

    When I click on "Share" in order to send a link to myself or others, recently it invariably goes to an ad mandating that I create a new account. So it is unusable. Why? [Am perfectly happy with my current one.]

    they fixed it should be through an update but if not go to settings--help and feedback--about microsoft edge and then up date--
