Why has my share feature on Microsoft Edge stopped working

ya I just stumbled on it. I wonder how long it will take them to fix the problem. It makes you want turn off all updates.

the share feature for some reason works in the web capture--just click web capture and then click capture full page and then at the top the share icon comes up and click that and it work for sending stuff through email like utube stuff and web pages but the other one is still blank when you click it---they better fix it or they are going to have a revolutiuon on their hands--real funny huh--like they care

I agree. You would think a company like Microsoft would more reasonable. At least, it customer know of the problem; but let people waste their time.

Had same problem. Reset computer still does not work. Have another computer and share works fine. Running windows 11 also

Was online with tech support for 4 hours and no help. That's when I reset the computer.

You can always do a copy and paste to your email of the link you want to send.

Tried to us quick assist from the cmd prompt and it did not work. It is a different command in win11.

Come on Microsoft get with it.

so what is the fix

the sharing feature has worked for years and yesterday diss
