new Edge chromium pen & ink settings

Recently upgraded to the new chromium version of Edge.

The pen & ink settings aren't the same as the last version.

Not able to change the pen color, pen size, select pencil or highlighter if I open a pdf file in edge & try to write on it.

What happened to the choices?

Are there settings to change them?

Do I have to do a screen shot first?

Used to be able to write in real time on an open pdf file.

    The latest version of Edge has bought back pen support as far as I can tell on my PC. Pen colors and size has been added back, but there are still no highlighter or pencil options.

    What are you talking about? Do you even have the latest version? I recently upgraded to the new and supposedly improved Microsoft Edge and it's missing the Pen button at the top of the browser that always goes next to where the web address would be typed and I looked through the Settings as well and I absolutely positively cannot find the Drawing tools anymore. I've used the drawing tools for several videos of mine I uploaded to show screenshots I took and to point out something specific. Now I can't unless I take a screenshot and go through the longer process of going on Photoshop to make these changes.

    I am running Edge Version 83.0.478.37 and it says it is up to date. Just checked to see if the pen drawing tools are still there, and they are. I am not running any Insider or preview version of Edge either.

    HEY..... I unfortunately updated to new version of Microsoft edge... 2 days back... didn't know I would lose colours for draw option. I still don't have the drop-down option to select a colour on my laptop.... is it the old version that u r using or the new? cause for me the drop-down is not visible(new version user).  is it different for monitor user and laptop user?

    I managed to go back to the old version as the new version was missing all the things I needed. I will wait until they realise that highlighters and pens are pretty important when using it as a teacher and update it/

    about a week ago I've send a feedback about not being able to use colours and surprisingly after couple of days I've got notifications for updates and then guess what .. colours. I'm not sure if it's because of the feedback or just a coincidence.
