Recently upgraded to the new chromium version of Edge.
The pen & ink settings aren't the same as the last version.
Not able to change the pen color, pen size, select pencil or highlighter if I open a pdf file in edge & try to write on it.
What happened to the choices?
Are there settings to change them?
Do I have to do a screen shot first?
Used to be able to write in real time on an open pdf file.

This is so absurd and annoying! I am beyond irritated! I solely relied on this to do my homework without actually writing on my books. I am trying various apps to get them to do the same task but i simply can't. Why would they update without having the previous settings, it was literally the only thing keeping me from switching to an ipad. Goodbye Microsoft!
Hey, this is another one facing the same problem.
Tried the methodology mentioned above but got stuck into the uninstallation process.
System isn't allowing the uninstallation off the PC!
Please let me know how were you able to get away through this mess.
This is STUPID! Can't remove the update! Can't use my pen feature in browser etc... Well I found a fix for some that I'm going to do. If you just bought your computer, like I did, and within the 15 days, just take it back to Best Buy return it, buy a new one and then disable updates!!!
It's July 31 and still no inking
Not that this is in any way an appropriate replacement, but I happened to have bought the Penbook app on my SurfacePro and the exact same set of pen and ink settings that used to be in Edge are in Penbook. You can open the PDFs and annotate but I have to "tap" through to different pages which is extremely annoying. My Edge updated a few weeks ago and now that I'm back to recording lectures for my courses, I cannot do so as seamlessly as I could before (and as everyone is aware, cannot uninstall the new Edge).
Microsoft, this (YOU) is a total joke and don't say you are "working" on it. What does that even mean? The settings already existed, put them back.
