new Edge chromium pen & ink settings

Recently upgraded to the new chromium version of Edge.

The pen & ink settings aren't the same as the last version.

Not able to change the pen color, pen size, select pencil or highlighter if I open a pdf file in edge & try to write on it.

What happened to the choices?

Are there settings to change them?

Do I have to do a screen shot first?

Used to be able to write in real time on an open pdf file.

    microsoft is continuing to develop features in Edge chromium, there are a number of features that are yet to be added (or improved)

    you can send feedback to the development team (Alt+Shift+I) perhaps they will prioritise this feature if enough users ask.

    I am sorry you didn't find the information helpful

    the choices are not available in edge chromium.

    there are no settings that will enable the feature.

    you could take a screenshot and use snip & sketch to annotate it.

    Is it possible to revert back to the prior version of edge if I don't like the chromium version yet?

    I upgraded too early & I miss those features that I used extensively.

    yes, at the moment it is possible to uninstall edge Chromium and restore the legacy edge.

    settings -> apps -> apps & features

    click on Microsoft edge and click the uninstall button

    I have just tried uninstalling, when completed, it opened legacy edge to ask why i uninstalled Edge.

    although the task bar icon is not automatically restored, you should be able to find Edge in the start menu list and pin it to the taskbar.

    I'm a happy camper now.

    Got the old version back.

    I'll try the new one again later if that feature is offered.
