new Edge chromium pen & ink settings

Recently upgraded to the new chromium version of Edge.

The pen & ink settings aren't the same as the last version.

Not able to change the pen color, pen size, select pencil or highlighter if I open a pdf file in edge & try to write on it.

What happened to the choices?

Are there settings to change them?

Do I have to do a screen shot first?

Used to be able to write in real time on an open pdf file.

    what happened with the new edje. im math tudor and the machine with the new edje is totally unuseful. with the old one you could write with just a click on browser and the pdf file was smoothy readable and writable. New edje is a lag disaster on pdf files. im waiting all those months for things to change on new ejde but nothing! is there a way to have the old version on our machines?

    The latest version of Edge has bought back pen support as far as I can tell on my PC. Pen colors and size has been added back, but there are still no highlighter or pencil options.

    What are you talking about? Do you even have the latest version? I recently upgraded to the new and supposedly improved Microsoft Edge and it's missing the Pen button at the top of the browser that always goes next to where the web address would be typed and I looked through the Settings as well and I absolutely positively cannot find the Drawing tools anymore. I've used the drawing tools for several videos of mine I uploaded to show screenshots I took and to point out something specific. Now I can't unless I take a screenshot and go through the longer process of going on Photoshop to make these changes.

    I think what is being shown is just for editing PDF's. The ability to draw natively on a web page is still missing sadly.

    I have updated to New Microsoft Edge as per the notifications but i am facing a problem that in the older version we had an option to change pen color, and size but here we have only blue color with no facility of changing the color kindly provide an update that we can change the color and make changes in the pdf

    I find it absurd that such a useful feature like the  Inking feature for web pages in the new version of Microsoft Edgehas been removed.  As a teacher it was a very useful, time saving feature.  Microsoft is supposed to be moving forward with new and innovative stuffto make life easier.  Not going backwards complicating life.  SMH.

    Uninstalling the new Edge and restarting the computer brought back legacy Edge for a friend. 

    I've heard the 2 page view is coming in 3-4 months so using legacy Edge seems to be the solution for now.
