I have the same problem started this morning 1/4/2022 very very irritating to say the least!!!!!
How to prevent Microsoft Start page from coming up when I click on a news article in the New Tab page?

Starting today (1/4/2022), whenever I click on a news article in the New Tab page, the Microsoft Start page is displayed instead. How do I stop that from happening?

2022-01-04T17:04:26+00:00 I'm having the same issue and it just started today 1/4 around 11 am EST. I tried what that tech said but it didn't work either. Microsoft fix this!

2022-01-04T17:01:47+00:00 I reinstalled Edge and it did not work for me either.. If this is not fixed I will delete Edge from my computer.
