How do I highlight PDFs in the new Microsoft Edge

I just downloaded the new edition of edge and now when I open PDFs I do not see the option to highlight.  Does anyone know?

    I have searched for "Enable Text Highlights for PDF"; and the page indicates that there are "No matching experiments."

    Probably because it's no longer experimental, but enabled by default. Try it.

    It will soon be added to the PDF toolbar along with Draw and Erase:

    what do you mean by enabled by default? I can't find the highlight tool anywhere.

    This is so frustrating. Only last week I was able to highlight and annotate a document and now I can't! What is going on?! So disappointed :( :( :(

    100% percent agree with this comment. And now MS has disabled to downgrade to previous version of edge wich was very usefull...

    In order to highlight in the new version of Microsoft Edge (PC)

    1. select the text you want to highlight and right click,
    2. select highlight
    3. pick a color

    If anyone can figure out how to delete a highlight once it's been set, I'd like to know.
