How do I highlight PDFs in the new Microsoft Edge

I have searched for "Enable Text Highlights for PDF"; and the page indicates that there are "No matching experiments."

Probably because it's no longer experimental, but enabled by default. Try it.

It will soon be added to the PDF toolbar along with Draw and Erase:

Ok but how do I get it pinned in the task bar? 

I use the highlighting feature every day for studying for school. It's more of a hassle to right click everytime to use highlights

I agree AusraKu.  I am not clear on how the current Edge is considered an improvement on the previous version, in which I was able to use the stylus to write ("draw") on PDFs as well as highlight.  Now, if the drawing function is enabled, I cannot use my finger to scroll; it automatically writes/draws.  Moreover, there is no highlighter option.

The edge://flags experiments do not include the "Text Highlights" as suggested in the response to the original commenter.  I am very disappointed.

This update sucks!!! I follow the instructions and can't get highlight option back, I tried to restore the previous version but is not available and I'm running it as administrator. Just like most of the forum I was using that because the highlight option was so convenient.
