How do I highlight PDFs in the new Microsoft Edge

I just downloaded the new edition of edge and now when I open PDFs I do not see the option to highlight.  Does anyone know?

    Yes, please. Let us uninstall. This is such an incredible step backwards, I can't believe this was released.

    Hi there -

    Was this issue solved? I just upgraded to the new Edge, lost the highlight feature for PDFs, followed the instructions in this thread ("turned 'on' via the edge//flag..."), and I *still* can't highlight in my PDF's. The only option is to "draw" in them. I have a Microsoft Surface Tablet, so use the 'pen' stylo to highlight. 

    Please advise! I want the old Edge back :-( 

    I have the same issue. Tried using my stylus and it just won't work.

    There is no Enable Text Highlights for PDF flag. 

    Please read the post before yours.

    It does not help at all. There is no Enable Text Highlights for PDF flag. I can highlight PDF text in all other Microsoft Office versions. This is yet another example of Microsoft's incompetence
