Webpages do not load without hitting the refresh button several times.

I have been having the same issues even to this day - for months. I have FIOS with 500/500 and wired in, and STILL, this happens. I refresh and the browsers are fine. Always a "can't find DNS" of so many locations. I have had decades of industry experience and have implemented so many solutions including flushing the DNS, etc., - yet here I am. I run Speedtest a lot and sometimes it just sits and either can't find the Speedtest site or just sits there connecting. I close and restart and GO is almost immediate. I feel like I am missing something but the answer escapes me.

Are you using secure DNS? If so, turn it off and see whether the problem persists: click ⋯ (Settings and more) > Settings > Privacy, search and services and scroll down to Use secure DNS to specify how to lookup the network address for websites.

I turned off the DNS per your instructions and it seemed to work well for me. However that was very short lived and the problem is just as bad now as it was. Thanks for trying.

I’m not sure if this is the fix for you, but it worked for me. The DNS had trouble connecting automatically, so this article shows you how to make it connect manually. Make sure you do it for both IPv4 & IPv6 connections. This will be the difference between your 2.5gz & 5gz networks
