Webpages do not load until I hit the refresh button several times. Happens 80% of the pages I try to open.

    I am having the same issue [Webpages often do not load until I hit the refresh button several times] :

    • Other browsers (Google chrome/ Firefox/ Apple Safari) do work.
    • Only the edge browser has this feature-bug.

    Also, there is a new annoyance (a large unsightly blue Bing Button is plastered on the top right without an easy way to remove it), is it time to switch to Firefox?

    • It's annoying
    • Its features are unnecessary
    • It's most unpleasing to the eye
    • It gets in the way of browsing

    I’m not sure if this is the fix for you, but it worked for me. The DNS had trouble connecting automatically, so this article shows you how to make it connect manually. Make sure you do it for both IPv4 & IPv6 connections. This will be the difference between your 2.5gz & 5gz networks

    Always a "can't find DNS" of so many locations.

    Are you using secure DNS? If so, turn it off and see whether the problem persists: click ⋯ (Settings and more) > Settings > Privacy, search and services and scroll down to Use secure DNS to specify how to lookup the network address for websites.
