I tried to cash out my Microsoft cashback but can't!

I tried to cash out my Microsoft cashback several times and I was told I had to add a phone number. I only have one and when I added it, the system said it could not be added and to choose another. I HAVE NO OTHER! So my cashback is in limbo. When I contacted customer support I was eventually sent an email telling me to contact MSA. Of course when I clicked on the link to MSA, I was met with a page which simply stated "This page isn’t working right now support.microsoft.com can't currently handle this request.

HTTP ERROR 500"

Thanks for nothing!!

    I have same problem---spoke with support---no resolution--they blamed my cell phone provider. I called my cell phone provider and they advised me that microsoft only allows a phone number to be used once--if your cell phone number was previously attached to another account---you are out of luck unless you can remove it from that prior account.

    I have the same issue. Try to get cash back. Says I need a phone number. Won't accept my phone number.

    Further, my Microsoft account has my cell phone number - I log in by having a code sent to that cell phone number. Why isn't it recognized for cashback?

    Regarding to your information I assume that you have some problem about add a mobile phone number.

    You can visit this website to add your mobile phone:

    Manage how you sign in to Microsoft (live.com)

    Every mobile phone number is only can use once, could you provide the error message when you add the phone number failed like this?

    To HTTP 500 error you can try to access this website on another device other browsers or use other network environments like mobile networks.
