Microsoft Edge automatically changes my upper case fonts to lower case regardless if caps lock is on or not.

My Microsoft Edge, suddenly, started changing all my upper case characters to lower case regardless if I have caps lock on or not.  I wish to disable this autocorrect.  How can I do this>

    Still have the same problem on first screen to do an initial search. I using:

    Microsoft EdgeVersion 92.0.902.62 (Official build) (64-bit)

    Yes, this is still happening for me too.

    On the Edge Homepage (new tab) the caps are removed if typed.
    You can actually see the upper case letter changed to lower case.

    If I load Bing or any other page on that new tab, the Caps work fine.
    If I load a different page (on which the caps are working) and then go back to the Edge Home page (same tab), the caps stop working again.

    To clarify the bug (as people have complained to me about it), it is restricted to the Search box in the middle of the page displayed when you add a new tab.

    There is no known way to fix it.

    A few workarounds are possible:

    1. If you go to Search settings, switch to a different search engine (this doesn't work with Bing) and select "Address bar" instead of "Search box", it doesn't use the search box (though it still shows it) and your typing goes in the address bar instead, where it doesn't get replaced

    1. Switch to Chrome or Firefox
    2. If you are determined to keep using both Edge and Bing, and don't mind using extensions, there are some which allow you to change the New Tab behaviour in Edge, so you could direct new tabs to, say "www.bing.com" , where the search box works properly

    I am staggered that Microsoft lets this bug hang around for so long, given that the only secure ways to fix it are to ditch Edge, or Bing, or both!

    Yes. It is just happening to me after the new update. I don't know what the update is for. But it just start.

    And the Microsoft search engine doesn't return anything. The same phase searching in Google comes lot of results.
