Microsoft Edge automatically changes my upper case fonts to lower case regardless if caps lock is on or not.

Confirmed it is also fixed in the latest version for Mac as well.

Thanks, same version here, it has made a difference.

Testing here shows that the search box now isn't the default - search in a new tab is done in the Address Bar unless you click the search box after adding a new tab, regardless of which search engine you set as default, and regardless of whether you had set the Search box as the defualt.

Also, now if you manually type in the Search box, it ignores any default settings and searches in Bing anyway!

So it's still broken in a couple of ways, but at least auto lowercase is fixed!

I just discovered this issue today. When I type an upper case letter..it shows upper case for a second then changes it to lower case. This happens with both using Shift key and putting on Caps Lock. Any word on when or if this will be fixed? I have the updated browser..brand new computer and all..so this problem should not be happening.

Discovered this is also a bug in the Mac version of Edge

Had this same problem on an HP 110-023W tower computer. Fixed it by going to Windows Update and then Optional Updates and installing the driver updates. This completely resolved the issue on this model computer.
