When typing comments in Facebook using Chrome or Microsoft Edge, if I use the backspace key on my keyboard, the entire window jumps up a page so where I was typing is now just off the top of my screen and I have to scroll up to see what I'm typing and if I have to use my backspace again, it scrolls off the top, again.
Is anyone else's Facebook page jumping like this? It only happens on Facebook too by the way.

Software bugs are usually found and fixed relatively quickly by developers, but the software environment has gotten SO complicated that the way multiple software services interact under specific environments make it so that some bugs only turn up infrequently under very specific combinations of parameters and options. The fact that this particular bug only shows up under particular levels of zooming is an example of why it wasn't fixed sooner (and still hasn't been, apparently). It's possible that the bug is caused by a software boundary condition (numeric overflow, memory out-of-bounds issue, pointer or code getting overwritten, or something like that). It's even possible that the memory loading order of the routines involved is part of what might cause this bug to manifest itself, and could also explain why it does or doesn't show up in particular usage situations.
I have Dell desktop computer Windows 10, I changed new keyboard few months ago I can't remember which month. YES only only on Facebook such a pain much of it. I saw someone's comment in the forum is to use Enter and Shift same time to type the comments so then will not have to jump. BTW zooming is NOT the answer, never is I like at 90 cuz I can see the left side panel and I use CHROME and I love using Chrome.
Try different levels of zoom (90%, 125%, or various other levels). Most users find some level at which this problem doesn't occur (at least at a given time).
No you didn't. But nice try.
He didn't.
