Page jumps when I press Backspace key while typing a comment on Facebook

When typing comments in Facebook using Chrome or Microsoft Edge, if I use the backspace key on my keyboard, the entire window jumps up a page so where I was typing is now just off the top of my screen and I have to scroll up to see what I'm typing and if I have to use my backspace again, it scrolls off the top, again.

Is anyone else's Facebook page jumping like this? It only happens on Facebook too by the way.

I had this problem just on Facebook this past month and it has been driving me crazy. Everytime I hit backspace, it jumped and I would have to scroll up back to where I was typing the comment. I had my screen enlarged to 110% to make the text larger and easier to read. I use Google Chrome as my browser. As someone already suggested, resetting the scale to 100% fixed the problem and it no longer jumps.

thank you for this, it was such a pain :)

It can be different a change depending resolution etc... in my case going from 100 to 110 fixed it. From wherever we are, give or take 10% will probably fix it, thanks again.
