Page jumps when I press Backspace key while typing a comment on Facebook

When typing comments in Facebook using Chrome or Microsoft Edge, if I use the backspace key on my keyboard, the entire window jumps up a page so where I was typing is now just off the top of my screen and I have to scroll up to see what I'm typing and if I have to use my backspace again, it scrolls off the top, again.

Is anyone else's Facebook page jumping like this? It only happens on Facebook too by the way.

I've had no issue since I started browsing with Chrome instead of Edge. I sure hope Chrome doesn't start acting up like users are reporting now. I'm on day 4 of Chrome and still holding tough.

I am having the same issue only in Chrome, not Edge.

Its happening to me as well! I am NOT tech savvy. I thought it maybe that I need a new keyboard??? But what I find reassuring that other people have the same problem.

It's not your keyboard. I only use a laptop and don't have separate keyboard. It seems to be an issue between Facebook and Chrome as it doesn't happen when I'm using Facebook in Edge. Microsoft is good about providing a solution for this type of issue, so hopefully it will be soon.

Isn't that just odd. My initial issue was with EDGE and remains to be so. I've had no issues since switching to Chrome. I've been following different thread for over a week now and when Microsoft has been responding to folks they are providing no solutions.
