Page jumps when I press Backspace key while typing a comment on Facebook

When typing comments in Facebook using Chrome or Microsoft Edge, if I use the backspace key on my keyboard, the entire window jumps up a page so where I was typing is now just off the top of my screen and I have to scroll up to see what I'm typing and if I have to use my backspace again, it scrolls off the top, again.

Is anyone else's Facebook page jumping like this? It only happens on Facebook too by the way.

    Yes, for about a month now. Both in Chrome and IE

    It's so aggravating... So, I can type fairly well without looking at the keys... and that's what I do, fixing typos if needs be... I use EDGE, Facebook, Messenger, and the old Google on a Desktop. The Left mouse button when held down and with the mouse sliding over text I want to copy or select is super flaky... no matter what cursor speed I use...

    Bottom Line: I think this is a Facebook anomaly... is that what you experience???

    NOPE not on mine!! I use Windows 10 on my desktop computer, I use Chrome AND AND still having the damn problem with jumping up or down every 1 or 3 keys I hit, worse of all is the backspace each letter.

    I have the exact same issues as you do!!! I have Windows 10, I use Chrome for everything, and it only happens on FB and nothing else!!! And I thought someone would come on here by now and tell us why and how to fix it and NOTHING so far!!!
