Page jumps when I press Backspace key while typing a comment on Facebook

When typing comments in Facebook using Chrome or Microsoft Edge, if I use the backspace key on my keyboard, the entire window jumps up a page so where I was typing is now just off the top of my screen and I have to scroll up to see what I'm typing and if I have to use my backspace again, it scrolls off the top, again.

Is anyone else's Facebook page jumping like this? It only happens on Facebook too by the way.

Well few days ago I reported to Facebook explained and sent a video of my typing to show it jumped many times and have to scroll up to go back to my comment, every few keys I hit and also worse of all the worse is the backspace one letter at a time and scroll each time. UGH!!!

I do not want Edge Browser. It removes items which I may need. What's another solution?

This is the least helpful comment imaginable. There are 11 pages in the thread so far. To be more helpful, you could quote the solution, indicate the poster or date... really, anything but waste the time by saying -- go search more. I have read about half the thread. Mostly people saying me too, me too, me too. One person suggested changing the zoom. That didn't work for me or many others.
