Troubleshooting website display or functionality issues in Edge on Windows 10

When typing comments in Facebook using Chrome or Microsoft Edge, if I use the backspace key on my keyboard, the entire window jumps up a page so where I was typing is now just off the top of my screen and I have to scroll up to see what I'm typing and if I have to use my backspace again, it scrolls off the top, again.
Is anyone else's Facebook page jumping like this? It only happens on Facebook too by the way.

I have the same terribly annoying problem. It happens on Chrome and Edge.
Bad idea about zoom, I would have to keep changing back to 90 every time to type in comments no thanks!! BTW I use Chrome for everything. I like at 90 cuz so I can see my left side panel menus on the News Feed.
Have you seen the replies that follow: Click on the three dots in the upper right-hand corner and change the "zoom" by one click and, like magic, away goes the problem, Peggy!
Amazing. Changed the zoom setting by one click and the anomaly has vanished!
I followed the guy's advice to click on the 3-dots in the Upper Right corner and change Zoom to 90% and then back to 100% (or whatever % you desire), I was surprised that this simple tweak worked. This issue is a Facebook bug. They don't seem to care to fix minor bugs, it's probably stuck in someone's "Things To Do" folder.
Cheers,
Kyd
Thanks for posting this!
I am using Chrome, with a Windows 8.1 platform, and it actually worked for me, too!
This has been problem for me for months!
Not sure if it will last, but I have hope that it might be a quick fix.
BTW, I agree .... this has to be a Facebook bug considering they have redesigned the platform to be more Android/iPhone-friendly.
I guess PC users can take a back seat as far as Facebook is concerned. SMH
