Page jumps when I press Backspace key while typing a comment on Facebook

When typing comments in Facebook using Chrome or Microsoft Edge, if I use the backspace key on my keyboard, the entire window jumps up a page so where I was typing is now just off the top of my screen and I have to scroll up to see what I'm typing and if I have to use my backspace again, it scrolls off the top, again.

Is anyone else's Facebook page jumping like this? It only happens on Facebook too by the way.

    Thank you all for replying. I am using Win. 10 Pro. I have tried using different browsers, resetting the zoom and none of that works. I am currently using Microsoft Edge. I tried Chrome and Duck Duck Go. This only happens when on FB, so I think it's a FB thing.

    Now when I post a lengthly post I just type it on Word, copy & paste to avoid the annoyance. I have never reached out to FB, I don't expect a remedy. No expectations is better than high expectations only to be let down.

    Reset zoom somewhere between 75% to 90%. Has worked for me and others.

    Here we are Oct 31, 2022 and the issue continues apparently from Feb '22 by all the posts here. My issue has been going on for 2-3 weeks now.

    Win 10, Both with Edge & Chrome. Occues in normal and in-private sessions. Both browsers were reset. All extensions disabled, smooth scrolling disabled, Zoom level reset to 100%. Seemingly any random keystroke, space bar, backspace, F, J etc etc will trigger Facebook to jump up, although the typing will still appear on the line where it was initiated.

    If anyone found a solution, please re-post it.

    Not sure if this had anything to do with it or just a coincidence but I ran a sfc/scannow from the C: and mine stopped. It could be a coincidence, but trying it won't hurt your computer. When I ran the scan corrupt files were found in Windows 10 and repaired.
