Page jumps when I press Backspace key while typing a comment on Facebook

When typing comments in Facebook using Chrome or Microsoft Edge, if I use the backspace key on my keyboard, the entire window jumps up a page so where I was typing is now just off the top of my screen and I have to scroll up to see what I'm typing and if I have to use my backspace again, it scrolls off the top, again.

Is anyone else's Facebook page jumping like this? It only happens on Facebook too by the way.

Mine works fine on 100% on Facebook using Chrome

Backspace , Back key, and the first letter of a comment will all send Facebook page scatty

Yes. I am on Chrome and this has just started happening recently. It is putting me off commenting on Facebook, which maybe is a good thing actually sometimes, lol.

I have a similar problem using firefox only mine jumps in the opposite direction, and I have to scroll down to see the comment or continue typing it. To make it even stranger, I don't ALWAYS have the issue, it seems to happen at random, but once it does it continues to happen for a long time.

Go to the three dots on top right, the customise and control options for chrome. Change your zoom level. Mine was set to 67% and I changed it to 75%. Fixed the issue.
