Maybe they know you don't like the new one ? 😆

Seems weird, would be interesting to know why the difference.

LOL! I wouldn't be surprised, disgusting the amount of data they collect without us even knowing.

Could have something to do with Windows Update settings or Group Policy Updates of the Store ?

In my computer under Apps & features it is shown as Microsoft To Do not Windows To Do.

    Hi lacrumb

Sorry that's a typo on my part. I meant to type Microsoft To Do but wound up typing Windows To Do 😉

    Hi,

Here is a sample right after updating to 22000.132, the store starts with the old version, but you can see that the new store is in the pending queue and updates right after the other apps.

Is there a way to completely reset the Mail app?

I had this issue on my Win 10 Desktop PC, and also with .132 update installed:

In the Mail app (setup with my IMAP email address) I can only view the Inbox. If I select another IMAP folder, such as Sent or Draft, it just sits there and freezes. I've removed the IMAP account (twice) and added it back, but still can only get it to view the Inbox folder. Other email programs, such as Thunderbird on the same PC, and Samsung Email on my Note can access all IMAP folders. Even the old Windows Live Mail on my Win 7 drive works fine.

Settings > Apps > Apps & features > Mail and Calendar > Advanced Options > Reset

    -Eddie

Did the reset Mail (after removing the email account) then added the IMAP account back,

It still only works with my IMAP's Inbox folder, if I select any other folder (outbox, sent, spam, etc) the Mail app just sits there and freezes.

So I just tried my primary email in both IMAP and POP, and also two Comcast.net Email Accounts (IMAP) and no matter what, the Mail app keeps freezing up when selecting any of the mail folders.

I don't have this problem when using other mail apps on the PC (such as Thunderbird), and Samsung Email app or Outlook email app on my phone.

So it appears this issue is only with the Windows Mail app when trying to select other mail folders.

Even though the Windows Mail app in Win 10 or Win 11 .132 freezes up when selecting other IMAP folders on my desktop PC, it works perfectly fine for the same IMAP account folders on my Asus laptop with .132 installed. I guess since the App Reset didn't fix it on the PC, the only other option would be to fully uninstall the Mail app and redownload it from the Microsoft Store.

Even after fully uninstalling the Mail app, reboot, and downloaded it from the Microsoft Store. Setup my IMAP email account, and I'm having the same exact problem, I can only select Inbox, if any other folder is selected (such as Sent, Drafts, spam) it will cause the Mail app to freeze up.
