It will prompt you for a restart during active hours, especially if you are on the Windows Update page checking for updates manually. It should not automatically restart.

    Thanks Eddie,

But I'm not having a problem with Restart.

I think Sibro.o, was saying that his machine was trying to Restart during active hours.

"reply I made to fg2001 towards the front of this thread" - I looked but didn't see it. What was it?

    Drew,

That is actually on page 9. 😎

Ah, I see, well cool you are doing Beta. Now I remember, you weren't on IBs at all a while ago.

Maybe Windows Terminal is one of the things that is Dev only currently; there are a few. Although check your Apps... if you are looking for it in WinX it may not be there, right now... for some it is missing from there and is a known issue. MS Store actually has Windows Terminal AND Windows Terminal Preview.

Agree, cannot fault the impressive performance. It is suggested to be faster than 10. And, it does seem to fly along, indeed. Not fair comparing the vm to the host, BUT... I can compare to when the IBs were 10. Also, I have to separate OS performance & Edge performance what with recent things in Dev & Canary spurring that in Edge. Both do seem to be stronger in this regard.

I cannot put my finger on it, but there is something weirdly or strangely pleasant about using 11. Wish I knew what I meant 🤣 or at least how put it into words 😂

    Cheers,

    Hi Drew,

No... when I signed up to be a Windows insider I was offered the opportunity to select the BETA version 22000.132 right away and they downloaded it to me as a Upgrade and **Not** a clean install which I really liked. The one and only real problem I was having was with the reply I made to fg2001 towards the front of this thread. The other problem I thought I was having is with Windows 11 Terminal Not opening but come to find out It's Not installed to my system so it's no **Wonder** it wont open. 🤣 I think I'll just wait on installing Windows Terminal to see it they don't download it to me automatically in a update within the next build release. Other than This, I Really enjoy the quick smooth response from Windows 11. I find it much faster than Windows 10.
