I haven't seen the Security bug yet, before or after any update or clean install.

    @Sibro.o,

In my case the Security windowsdefender link (Microsoft.SecHealthUI) problem showed up only on machines upgraded directly from 21H1 to 22000.120 or 22000.132. Not seen in clean installs or updates from 22000.100.

    Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.SecHealthUI -AllUsers | Reset-AppxPackage

    So many variables ! 😉

No problems with Windows Terminal on any machine,

The System link is there on Win + x on a Beta machine, missing on all the others.

B.T.W. When I click on that System link opens System->About

Just another shortcut, same as clicking on This PC Properties

Just to add to your latest post to Sibro.o I have the Windows Terminal listed when you right click on the Windows 11 start button but it is not on the system or listed anyplace else and when you click of it it does nothing.

You can get it from the Store anytime

    Hi Drew,

Just to add to your latest post to Sibro.o I have the Windows Terminal listed when you right click on the Windows 11 start button but it is not on the system or listed anyplace else and when you click of it it does nothing. I believe it maybe because I'm on the Windows 11 insider **Beta** channel instead of the **Dev**. Because I read somewhere that the **BETA** channel does not have the new **Snipping Tool** but the Dev does. We on **Beta** have the old Snipping tool that says it is moving to the Snip and Sketch app. I'm sure we will receive the Windows Terminal and Snipping tool once it passes testing in Dev and moves on to Beta.

PS... Yes I did a upgrade form windows 10 and not a clean install of Windows 11

I Hope this make some sense 😃

BTW, just clarify, "missing from WinX", I do not believe that means one does not have Windows Terminal, but only that it is not listed on the WinX menu. Same for System possibly not being there, right now, but certainly one does have the System page in Settings.

In my case, WinX has Windows Terminal but not System, currently.

    Cheers,

    Hi Davy,

I did not have problem with Windows Terminal, but I saw some other users in this thread saying they did no have it.

This note is in the blog:

    • System and Windows Terminal is missing when right-clicking on the Start button (WIN + X).

After a clean install I have both Windows Terminal & System, so appears to be an update only bug. I haven't seen the Security bug yet, before or after any update or clean install.
