Did anybody figure out how to add back MS Paint to this "Open with" menu in build 21370 ?

Problem started when they moved the MS Paint to the MS Store, but the same is true for Notepad and yet that is still showing on the menu, only Paint is missing ?

I got two message while running trouble-shooter(I don't remember exact words but similar):

    1. You device configured properly but could not reach internet
    2. You firewall settings may block the connection

I disabled Defender, disable firewall, no success.

However I made it work now by rolling back to previous build and then update again to 21370. Not sure why it did not work on first time.

Good to know it is working. I had a similar issue a couple of Development Builds back, all I did to get it working was by Disabling and Reenabling the network adapter.

I had the same issue with this build, and I fixed it by running the network trouble shooter.

As in "each to their own" or "Personalization" or "Customise".  I 'm sure we all know configuring & usage is subjective & in Windows there are usually/often a few ways to accomplish the same thing.

Heck, I have no tiles & really don't even > Strat for much of anything, hardly ever... doesn't make it right or wrong.  But someone can have an idea someone didn't know & that they might like.

Exactly Drew! There is no right way, only what works for yourself. That's what makes windows great.

I did like your concept of Settings on taskbar, tried it for awhile, kept finding myself still using Start. Hard to break old habits one gets stuck in  :-)

The example I showed for Settings is in couple vm's, preferred it over pinning to taskbar for ease and opening to page desired, but then again, will I use this on my main desktop, not likely. This is where your suggestion makes much more sense (safer) which I did try on main.

Not a fan of the new Windows Tools popup window (work in progress), find that too cluttered and disorganized compared to the old menu. For myself, find it more of a frustration to find the tool I require with these old eyes. Will end up going to "\ProgramData\Start Menu\" and restore menu items for the administrative tools I tend to use.

Great it works out for you; not here, too Menu driven. Don't like the aspect of opening a window to search for a tool in all that clutter.

    Regards,
