Hi Johnny, I like the way this looks - would you be able to tell us how you achieved this look?

Out of the 13 you show in tray, how many do you actually use.

    Regards,

I use them all except for N&I which I don't care for.  :-)

The one thing I enjoy in this forum, you find out how others may use things differently. Sometimes its a never thought of that, other times, nope not for me type thing.

I like N&I, only for the taskbar display for temp, etc. (lets me know, do I have to put a sweater on to walk pup) have not come to a conclusion yet on the rest of it. Rarely bother with it. It stays out of my way, probably due to the mouse acceleration for pointer, and the delay MS implemented.

    Always interesting, never the less.

The good thing is, one can mix and match your preferences to show what one prefers. Out of the 13 you show in tray, how many do you actually use. For example, I will never use Meet Now, out of sight it stays. If my video drivers have an update, it will appear in tray, then hide again after. Same with my printer, it will appear in tray if low on ink, otherwise stays hidden.

We all work different. For example, Drew prefers his Settings pinned to taskbar, I prefer to have them set with right-click menu with registry edits on test vm's:

Looking at yor taskbar you need to use the Hidden ^ area on your taskbar so you have some room for other icons.  Like USB removal, Security, Bluetooth, Mail.

    Hi Lawrence,

For once I agree with you.   lol

We all have our own preferences, personally like to keep my tray nearly empty with commonly used programs pinned to taskbar. I really find the weather displayed with N&I handy. Still playing around with the popup settings to see if I have any use for updated news items. Normally first thing I do is read up on all the news in browser anyhow.

    Regards,

    I sure don't like this alternative 😎
