I was able to get rid of the button like this:
- Open RegEdit
- Go to HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\StorageProvider\OneDrive
- Remove or rename the key StorageProviderKnownFolderSyncInfoSourceFactory
- Restart Windows Explorer
Remove "Start back up" option in file explorer

Hello,
In the latest release of Windows Insider Home Preview (I have an option everywhere I go in file explorer to "Start Back Up", clicking on it leads me to the onedrive dialogue to back up folders. This is incredibly annoying and I cannot find out how to disable it, even though all my backup features are off.
How can I disable this?

Tabs are great in explorer, and I use them a lot, never seen any slow down at all. .
If you don't like something, use the feedback hub and if you get enough people behind your idea things will get changed.

There is nothing about the Windows operating system that is improving remotely. Every single aspect, every single change is for the worse, and looks like it was done by someone who has no business working in the computer industry. Who are they even hiring? Are they illiterate?
