Maybe, Microsoft, you could Paste the file with the Screenshot automatically.
Microsoft couldn't do that because they don't
know where you want to paste it.
You could want it in an e mail, the forum,, etc.
" directly into a folder of your choice in File Explorer " => 'directly' suggests something automated ... (maybe after setting up a default folder)

That functionality already exists with WIN + PrtScn which saves the screen shot automatically in the folder Pictures\Screenshots of the user.
This one is just a new added capability giving the choice to save the selected snip & sketch image directly in a folder of your choice. Before this change you had to use the "save as" function and then select the folder where you wanted to save it, not much difference just a couple of steps shorter now after this new change. 😉
Before this change you could already paste it in a email or an open document, so it is not really a big deal 😎.
Too bad it cannot be pasted directly into these posts or any forum posts ..😜.
