    RS downloaded and installed, was also offered an older NVidia driver which I actually let install because it allows me to change my refresh rate back to 240 Hz.  Was stuck on 60 Hz with the 460.20 driver.  I have the animation and it looks a lot smoother with the higher refresh rate.

    Latest updated Nvidia driver on 2 on my machines is 460.79 dated Dec/03/2020.

    Which older driver did you get ?

    Also: features like the updated emoji picker, redesigned touch keyboard, voice typing, theme-aware splash screens, and others that were removed temporarily at the end of October will be returning for Insiders who install this RS_PRERELEASE build. However, please note some of these features will continue to be available only to a subset of Insiders and will get enabled for more Insiders over time.

    This is the full quote.

    JMO, I didn't take this to apply to the animation.

    Maybe Eddie can clarify this.

    Also, I didn't see any pop up animation when I got

    1. I also didn't see anything like Wolfboy

    described, so call me confused about this.

    I installed insider build 21277 on my notebook HP. I don't see any animations on that notebook that I see on my desktop PC. I guess it is because my notebook does not have a good display adapter that has the power to play any animations of this sort. It is integrated display adapter Intel HD3000.

    @suat.cini,

    I have a desktop with Nvidia RTX 2060 and I don't see any fancy animation on that either, I just haven't seen what described on any of my 21277 machines.
