Yes it is frustrating dealing with MS love for tablets. Ever watch one of their Insider meetings, they all on tiny devices in meeting. Seems the only thing the Insider Team is doing is making windows work for themselves, not the millions of us outside of MS that use large monitors, desktops, have no need for Chats, Teams, etc. Why so many?

This total disregard for the rest of us using large monitors is why my participation is disappearing from program. Personally find the team getting more and more selfish for their own personal needs on their tiny devices. Do bugs get fixed? Only if it effects the Insider team. You see it weekly as you, many others have reported them constantly to no avail.

Not sure about other Insiders, but all my tablets run Android. Why does one need Windows on those entertainment devices.

There has been no change to systray icons not everyone has a laptop or tablet MS is now biased towards tablets when is this going to be fixed I like to be able to rearrange those icons, now you can't after a restart they appear in any random order

Upvote the FBH reports that are complaining about the bugs introduced by tablet optimization.

I found that if you go into Taskbar settings and untick which ones to display, then tick them in the order you want that does work to organize as long as you are using some hidden icons. Suppose this would not work for you as you display all icons.

I really don't have any use for hidden icons. I wish they put back the option to show them all like it was in Widows 10 without having to enable one at the time.

Instead of fixing problems they just keep adding new ones.

Besides removing the ability of shuffling the icons at will they added bugs.

When hiding and unhiding an icon in the system tray, they leave phantom empty icons in the desktop.

They broke Win + Shift + S when Win + X is open.

To take a snapshot of Win + X now you have to jump through the hoops, take a full desktop screen shot then go find the picture and then crop the part showing Win + X. 🤐

The option to turn off the show hidden icons button is a complete useless joke. If you turn that off you never know if you have a hidden icon or not, if you turn it on, it stays there even when there are no hidden icons and that is silly, it should only be there when there are hidden icons like it was before this faulty tablet "optimization" B.S.
